Lithuanian Students’ Song Festival “Laiku Ratu Kartu”

One of the biggest cultural highlights of July 2026 is the Lithuanian Students’ Song Festival, returning after 10 years. The festival will bring choirs, orchestras and dance groups to Vilnius, with performances across major city venues. The programme traditionally includes parades, concerts, dance performances and a festive Song Day in Vingis Park.

Statehood Day and National Anthem Day

July 6 is a public holiday in Lithuania, marking the coronation of King Mindaugas, Lithuania’s first and only king. It is one of the most meaningful days of the year, with official ceremonies, concerts and cultural events often taking place around the city. The most symbolic moment happens at 9:00 PM, when Lithuanians in Lithuania and around the world sing the national anthem together.

Christopher Summer Festival

For music lovers, July in Vilnius means the Christopher Summer Festival. Running from June 30 to August 30, the festival brings concerts to concert halls, parks, courtyards and other summer venues.
